Ghanaian rapper Medikal has officially appointed Erica Nana Akua Appiahnimah, better known as Highest Eri, as the new Public Relations Officer (PRO) for his independent record label, Beyond Kontrol (BYK).
Eri brings strong media credentials to the role. She has a Diploma in TV and Radio Presentation from the Multimedia Institute of Ghana and experience working at top Ghanaian media platforms, including DL FM, Asaasepa Radio, Hitz FM, Neat FM, Adom TV, and Peace FM. Currently, she works as a content creator at Kwadwo Sheldon Studios, giving her insight into both traditional and digital media.
In announcing her appointment, BYK said Eri will be responsible for managing the label’s public image, strengthening media relations, and engaging with fans and industry stakeholders. Her addition to the team underscores the label’s commitment to professional growth and strategic communication.
Beyond Kontrol, founded by Medikal, operates under the purview of his music career — overseeing his recordings, promotion, and business affairs. The label is also preparing for its highly anticipated “Beyond Kontrol Concert” slated for 13 December 2025 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
