The 2025 Ghana Food Festival (GFF), scheduled for 5th and 6th December at Untamed Empire on Spintex Road, is not just a celebration of Ghana’s rich culinary heritage — the organizers are also placing strong emphasis on social impact through a community-driven donation initiative.
Emmanuel Forson, the festival’s founder, said this year’s edition is built around the theme “Honouring Our Farmers, Tasting Our Culture.” He further highlighted a parallel mission: to extend support to underprivileged communities through deliberate acts of kindness in the spirit of the festive season.
As part of its corporate social responsibility effort, the festival will feature a Donation Corner Booth, where attendees can donate essential items such as toiletries, non-perishable food, clothing, educational materials, and basic household supplies.
For those unable to remain at the event for long, the organizers have created flexible options to ensure maximum participation. Donors can drop off items at the venue or coordinate with the festival team for collection, ensuring that everyone who wishes to contribute can do so conveniently.
All items received will be distributed to selected underprivileged communities in Accra and other regions after the festival.
Beyond the donation drive, patrons can look forward to two days of delicious food, cultural exhibitions, and entertainment. Guests will be treated to a rich showcase of Ghanaian cuisine — including waakye, fufu, kenkey, banku, tuo zaafi, jollof, and many more traditional favourites. The event will also feature cultural performances, a craft market, a kids’ zone, live music, and various interactive experiences that celebrate Ghana’s vibrant heritage.
Call for Vendors:
Organizers are inviting food vendors, drink brands, chefs, caterers, craft sellers, and product exhibitors to secure their booths and be part of this year’s festival. The GFF provides a major platform to reach thousands of attendees, promote businesses, and showcase authentic Ghanaian flavours and products.
Call for Sponsors & Partners:
The Ghana Food Festival team is also opening sponsorship and partnership opportunities to corporate organizations, brands, institutions, and agencies seeking visibility and meaningful community involvement. Sponsors will gain strong brand exposure, media visibility, and alignment with a socially impactful national event.
The Ghana Tourism Authority is backing the festival under its Black Star Experience initiative, and the event has been listed on the official #DecemberInGH calendar, making it one of the must-attend events of the festive season.
For vendor bookings, sponsorship packages, or donation inquiries, organizers encourage interested parties to contact the GFF.
